About Blondy & Blacky
Blondy & Blacky started off as two companies. Dalbo Hairteam,established in 1969 by Hans Hansson, and Blondy, established in 1998 by Petra Ljungqvist. After several years of working together the two companies merged in 2007 and were reborn as Blondy & Blacky, only to move in together to a combined shop and salon in Dalbo Centre in Växjö.
Returning to Sweden after several years of living in Florida, she decided to follow her dream to own her own boutique with american clothes like the ones she loved to visit in some of Floridas largest malls. (Out of interest: Petra had over 200 pairs of shoes and a dedicated closet for them in Florida)
Everyone has clohes from the USA in their shops? Not like these! Petra wanted to give girls in Sweden the same ability to dress up like a star for their special occasions. She wanted them to have the opportunity to discover "the perfect dress".
The prom
In the USA, the prom is a very important moment in a young girls life. It can be extremely costly, and it is a status competition to celebrate this period of maturity. Americans are expert on prom dresses, but Blondy & Blacky do not limit themselves to only importing from America. If a dress fits the bill of high standard and quality that Blondy & Blacky is known for, then we import from any area in the world. Our own successful brand "Dress 2 Kill" is sown in either China or Turkey, after Petras own designs.
Blondy & Blacky always have dresses in stock, and it is constantly changing. Our dresses in "One of a kind" series are only available in ONE dress of any particular kind in our shop. All to make our customers more unique on their special days. We also try to keep track of who wear what on schools, to help our customers be truly unique.
Blondy & Blacky's goal is to become the best prom and wedding supplier in Sweden, with tough and elegant dresses for all special occations.
Blondy & Blacky do not rent their dresses, but only sells new dresses. No item is ever second-hand.
Wedding
We also have exciting brands among bridal gowns. From French dresses inspired by princesses to more modern and elegant dresses.
When the bride walks down the isle there is something magical about her. The air is charged with expectations, hope and nervosity for this particular moment and many tears are shed in happiness over this most special of days. No matter who she is each and every day, today she is special. She is The Bride!

Mens fashion - smoking or non smoking
2008 we did not only celebrate our ten year anniversary, but also started providing tuxedos for the discerning gentleman. Perfect fit for everything, be it prom, concerts or cocktail parties. We share our supplier with such notable institutions as the BBC and the London philharmonic orchestra. A tuxedo is timeless and will give any man a classic style that will last for years to come.
